Rearrange, Rotate, and Stamp Text Onto PDF Pages Without Adobe
This editor loads your PDF with pdf-lib and keeps a lightweight in-memory list of what to do with each page: rotate by some multiple of 90°, mark for deletion, or move it up or down in the order, without touching the original file until you save. When you click Save, a brand-new PDF document is built, pdf-lib's copyPages pulls over only the pages you kept in their new order, applies each page's rotation, and, if you typed an overlay, stamps a Helvetica text run onto every remaining page at the X/Y position you chose.
That covers the everyday fixes a scanned or exported PDF usually needs: flipping a page that got scanned in upside down, removing a blank cover sheet or duplicate scan, putting chapters back in the right order after a messy multi-pass scan, or stamping DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across a document before circulating it for review. Because pages are copied rather than rendered to images, text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded, and nothing gets recompressed, only the page order, rotation, and count actually change.

Upload a PDF
Drop your file. pdf-lib reads it and lists every page with its own controls.

Rotate, delete, or reorder pages
Click the rotate icon to turn a page 90° at a time, the trash icon to mark a page for removal, or the up/down arrows to move it in the sequence.

Add a text overlay (optional)
Type a stamp like DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, then set its font size and its X/Y position as a percentage of the page.

Save and download
Click Save Edited PDF. pdf-lib rebuilds the document with your changes and the file downloads immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I rotate a single page without rotating the rest of the document?
Yes. Each page has its own rotate button, clicking it only affects that page; the others keep whatever rotation you left them at.
If I delete a page by mistake, can I get it back before saving?
Yes. Deleted pages are shown greyed out with a strikethrough page number instead of being removed immediately. Click the trash icon again to restore it, any time before you click Save.
Does the text overlay replace or cover up what's already on the page?
It's drawn on top of the existing page content; nothing underneath is removed. If your overlay position overlaps existing text, both will be visible.
Will reordering or deleting pages make the PDF blurry or lower quality?
No. pdf-lib copies each page's original content directly into the new document; it never rasterizes anything, so text, images, and fonts keep their original quality.
Can I use this on a scanned PDF, or only on ones with real text?
Rotating, deleting, and reordering work on any standard PDF regardless of whether the pages are scans or real text, since those operations act on whole pages. A text overlay is simply drawn on top either way.
